A BEAUTIFUL PUZZLE HUNG IN OUR RECEPTION AREA

One of the coolest features of The Earl Haig Retirement Residence is the PUZZLES! Our independent living is full of them.
The recreation room walls!
The hallways!
The dining room!

All the walls in our awesome 5-year-old retirement community are lined with the most amazing art – PUZZLES DONE BY OUR VERY OWN RESIDENTS!

A Poem About Our Puzzles By A Resident…

One of our residents, originally hailing from England, was so amazed at the the puzzles, he was inspired to write a poem about it! We’d like to share that with you today…I LIVEI live in a world of jigsaw puzzzles
Asking questions of previous lifetime experiences
Sorting out the unstructured pieces of life’s rich pageantry
They’re assembled as experiences of everything we’ve seen or done
On walls, in corridors adjascent to my living comfortsThey’re displayed as a history of life
Mechanical, animal, and human
And represent a meaning sometimes forgotten
But often sometimes rememberedThe labour it took to place them here in my world
Is gratefully acknowledged
